Barman assaulted, locked in storeroom
A bar attendant has been assaulted and locked in a storeroom during an armed holdup at a club on the NSW mid-north coast.Police said a gunman threatened the 33-year-old barman and stole cash from the premises about 9.20pm (AEST) on Tuesday at Taree.
The barman was struck by the butt of the gun and locked in the storeroom, police said.
The offender has been described as being of average height, with a stocky build.
Police said the man was wearing a full body suit with hood, similar to a biohazard suit, black mask and blue surgical gloves.
