Girl, 10, Hurt by Electric Shock at Pub
A 10-year-old girl has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after receiving an electric shock at a Sydney pub.The girl suffered a 240 volt shock at a Newport hotel, on Sydney's northern beaches, at 8.14pm (AEDT) today, a NSW ambulance officer said.
The girl was sedated by ambulance paramedics after suffering seizures when the power was shut off at the Newport Arms Hotel.
She was taken to Mona Vale Hospital in a serious condition and is expected to be transferred later in the night to Royal North Shore Hospital for further treatment.Source: Daily Telegraph
