New Work Health and Safety Regulation

The Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (WHS Reg 2011 ) was agreed late in December 2011 and is fully effective from 1/1/12 to coincide with the full introduction of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011. (WHS Act 2011) The OHS Act 2000 and the OHS Regulation 2011 are now therefore no longer the governing acts for occupational health and safety.
