Taxi safety committee set up

Vice president Wally Sievers said the idea would be discussed at the council's monthly meeting today.

Independent MP Kris Hanna yesterday renewed his call for safety technology upgrades for taxis. He recommended a global positioning system capable of tracking a taxi.
