Two beers cost manager job
A supermarket manager sacked for having two beers at lunch has lost a bid to be reinstated.
The Industrial Relations Commission has dismissed an appeal by Tony Selak, 36, who worked at Safeway's Southland store.
Mr Selak was sacked last May after he was seen drinking at the Sandbelt Hotel, Moorabbin.
It breached the company's zero-tolerance policy on drinking during work hours.
