Welcome to HEMSafe

HEMSafe is an electronic tool tailored for the hospitality industry that will enable you to establish your own Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System. It was formerly named HEMSmartOHS and is in the process of being reviewed, and progressivly upgraded to comply with the new Work Health and Safety Act 2011 which became effective on 1 January 2012.

HEMSafe provides a generic WHS Management System together with the tools, guidance and information to enable you to adapt the system to suit your individual workplace in accordance with NSW WHS legislation and in line with Australian Standard 4801.

The adaptation program is timetabled for 28 weeks and thereafter regular email reminders are sent to help you maintain the system and complete specific tasks.
